On October 14, 2015, the LG Chem South China Technology Center officially opened with great fanfare on Junye Road in Luogang District, Guangzhou City!

The LG Chem South China Technology Center is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LG Chem, a Fortune Global 500 company. It boasts world-class plastic R&D capabilities and leading-edge technologies. The initial equipment investment for the center reached 70 million yuan, and the plan is to recruit more than 10 senior R&D professionals. Covering an area of approximately 10,000 square meters, the South China Technology Center is equipped with state-of-the-art injection molding and extrusion machinery—industry-leading facilities that meet the highest standards. Moreover, some of its testing and analytical instruments fill gaps in the South China market. The introduction of this project will play a crucial role in elevating plastic technology from South China—and indeed, from all of China—to a globally leading position.

In addition to genuine branded plastics, our technology center also offers the following services: recommendations for multi-category material combinations, material composition testing and quality analysis, mold flow analysis and mold design optimization, rigorous on-site factory inspections and assessments, recommendations for external processing factories along the industrial chain, specialized plastic courses, and injection molding training, among others.
