The main advantages of engineering plastics compared to metal

(1) The product is light in quality: the specific gravity of engineering plastics is generally about 0.83 to 2.2, which is only 1/9 to 1/4 of that of steel and about 1/2 of that of aluminum. (6) Excellent shock absorption and noise reduction: machinery equipped with engineering plastic bearings and gears can reduce vibration, attenuate noise, and even eliminate noise. (7) Convenient molding and processing: Engineering plastic products can be molded at one time, while metal products always have to go through several or even more than a dozen procedures to be processed.
